Prescott Park Arts Festival
Prescott Park Arts Festival has been one of the Seacoast’s favorite summer traditions since 1974, providing family-friendly arts programming for an optional suggested donation! The Festival combines a grassroots, community feel with the allure that accompanies the Grammy Award-winning national touring acts that grace the stage. Camp ENCORE! is the Festival’s youth theater summer camp program, offering three sessions for 100+ kids each summer ages 7-17. Camp ENCORE! helps campers to gain valuable teamwork skills, experience theater arts, and build confidence. Each session culminates with a fully staged public performance on the Main Stage, which is open to all. Prescott Park Arts Festival is committed to offering a variety of family-friendly events—from the River House Restaurant Concert Series and main stage musical, a Movie Night Series on the big screen, presented by Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, and special community events throughout the summer season!

Heronfield Academy
Heronfield Academy is a private school focused on redesigning Middle School years (grades 6-8). At Heronfield, students are challenged and supported, while building strong relationships with their peers and teachers. During classes, students take ownership of their learning—they are invigorated by discussing texts like The Odyssey, stand up at the board in math class working through stimulating problem sets, present and speak in front of their peers, and get creative through engagement and collaboration. While all of this education is taking place during classes, students are also learning and growing outside the school building.
They have breaks during the day where they play— kickball, nine square, and flag football are the current favorites of this year’s 94 students. In sum, students at Heronfield Academy love to learn and be challenged while preparing for the post-middle school years.
