The Central Bean & Bakery is a coffee shop and bakery that specializes in homemade pastries, egg sandwiches, lunch items, George Howell Coffee & espresso, White Heron Teas, beer, wine, and boozy coffee drinks.
White Heron Tea & Coffee
In addition to its lines of tea and coffee being MOFGA organic certified, White Heron Tea & Coffee in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Eliot, Maine also offers a variety of fun seasonal beverages on its menus! Get excited for bevs like flavorful iced teas, creative lemonade concoctions (hello, Matcha Green Tea Lemonade!), and a variety of frozen drink options made with White Heron’s own cold brew and house made syrups. In addition to countless refreshing drinks, White Heron also offers delicious sandwiches, salads, baked goodies, and more—7 days a week at both locations!
Nectar Cafe not only offers delicious coffee, tea, and espresso drinks year-round; this York, Maine foodie destination also serves egg sandwiches, smoothies, donuts, and tasty lunch options! Be sure to pop by all year long for seasonal drink specials too!
Wild Valentine is an adorable flower and coffee shop located in Portsmouth’s South End. A true neighborhood destination, this bright and welcoming cafe offers a variety of espresso drinks (hello Cardamom Rose latte!), coffee, tea, flavored lemonade, donuts, and baked goods!
Visit Lil’s Café in the heart of Kittery’s Wallingford Square and you’ll immediately be welcomed by a beautiful display of freshly-baked pastries, muffins, cookies, breads, and Lil’s famous crullers (which will practically beg you to devour them before you even sit down). Once you select your treat (or sandwich, soup, or salad—all extraordinarily tasty!), it’s time to enjoy a beautiful cup of craft coffee!
Lil’s sources its coffee from No. 6 Depot (YAY LOCAL!) and offers a large selection of craft espresso beverages, seasonal lattes (We’re looking at you, pumpkin spice!), and loose leaf organic teas, sourced from Tempest in a Teapot in Stonington, Maine! Backyard Coffeehouse & Eatery
In addition to offering locally-roasted coffee from Bard in Portland, Maine (another place we adore), Backyard Coffeehouse & Eatery, in the heart of Ogunquit, Maine, serves flavorful espresso beverages, MEM loose leaf tea, and a rather delicious iced matcha latte if we do say so ourselves! Backyard serves beer and wine as well! So sit back and relax on a sunny Ogunquit morning, or take some sammies to the beach for midday fuel! We go crazy for the strawberry biscuits!
The Green Room
The Green Room is a welcoming and tropical healthy food oasis that offers something for everyone! With locations in both downtown Portsmouth and Hampton Beach, The Green Room provides locals and visitors alike with a creative variety of coffee and tea drinks all year long! Opt for 1 of 12 flavors of iced coffee on tap (or mix and match flavors!) or go for an espresso beverage made with La Mulita Coffee Roasters in Rye, New Hampshire.
