This week we chatted with Chelsey Puffer about Fuller Gardens’ annual (and oh-so-fun!) “Reggae & Roses” event that will take place this Friday—Here’s what you need to know!

For those of us who aren’t familiar, what is Fuller Gardens?

Fuller Gardens is a non-profit, public botanical garden located just steps from the ocean in North Hampton, NH! Our formal gardens and conservatory dazzle and delight every nature lover with hundreds of rose bushes, colorful annuals, robust perennials, and gorgeous succulents! On property, we have a greenhouse, a koi pond, and a plethora of beautiful gardens for strolling.

Are the gardens open to the public? If so, when can we visit?

Absolutely! The gardens are open to the public every day from 10am-5:30pm, from mid-May to mid-October.

We’ve heard buzz about the upcoming Reggae ‘n Roses event. Tell us more!

Reggae ‘n Roses is our big event of the summer here at Fuller Gardens and we’re so excited for this year’s party! With delicious drinks, fabulous food, melodious music, and ravishing roses, what’s not to love? From 5:00-8:00pm on August 2, we’ll be dancing to tunes by Stream Reggae Band, posing for photos in front of a gorgeous rose-covered backdrop, and enjoying delightful hor d’oeuvres as we stroll about the gardens…Join us, won’t you?

Tickets can be purchased here for $40 for Fuller Gardens members, or $50 for non-members. This event is 21+, and it will take place rain or shine.

Any other inside information you can share with us?

If you love photography, or if your Instagram feed is itching for a show stopping summer post, Reggae ‘n Roses is your golden opportunity to visit the gardens. Every evening, the setting sun bathes the gardens in a magical light, which is extra special, as the gardens usually close to the public at sunset!
