GAIN STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

GAIN Strength and Conditioning uses individualized coaching to help members feel confident in and out of the gym. Our coaching style and movement philosophy helps people in their 50s, 60s and 70s build strength and improve their balance, mobility and endurance. Other members have performance driven goals, like getting their first pull up, running ultramarathons or triathlons, staying active through pregnancy or want to beat their previous PRs. KATY’S TOTAL FITNESS

Katy’s Total Fitness is a personal training studio that is owned and run by local, Katy Estes. Katy has been personal training for 10 years, and 9 of those years have been out of a private studio in Kittery, Maine where she still trains today. Katy provides personalized workouts to fit the needs and goals of each client she works with. In addition to working with individuals in person, she also has workout plans for those who want to work on their goals outside the studio. Katy’s mission is to make sure everyone who works with her does so safely and mindfully, while continually building confidence within themselves.

INTEGRITY MOVEMENT LAB

Integrity Movement Lab is a multidisciplinary and body- and age-positive training studio that emphasizes  empowerment for people in their 40s-70s so that you can physically do whatever you want for as long as you can! They key to longevity is strength training, and recent research and articles have emphasized that “heavy lifting” is the key to building and maintaining bone density in pre- and post-menopausal women. We offer a small group Barbell Club where we “meet you where you are” and teach you the exercise principles of gradually increasing weight to drive the adaptations that will build your bones and strength as well as how to perform these whole-body strengthening exercises safely and effectively. In addition to barbell classes, we offer small groups and private training in pre- and post-rehab exercise, hardstyle kettlebells and a circular, fluid movement technique called the Gyrotonic Method.

Chases Pond has a spacious feel of a dance studio with a wide variety of exercise equipment and props.. From the Pilates Reformers, Split Pedal Stability Chair, to the Tower Trainer and TRX System, clients integrate strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility exercises tailored to their specific needs and goals, . YNDI Yoga is an immersive and atmospheric online yoga platform with diverse, transformational yoga classes and guided meditations that include custom composed soundscapes and artful visuals. Lana Vogestad, E-RYT 500, artist, host and producer of the national PBS series YNDI Yoga, invites us to tend to our physical and mental health through on-demand classes and specially curated in-person events on the Seacoast. YNDI is honored to have been in the official selection of the Reykjavík International Film Festival in 2020 and has three seasons out on PBS and the Create channel, which is a testament to the overall quality of the experience and to Lana’s teaching. YNDI membership includes unlimited access to the expansive and elevated video library, monthly livestream classes, soundscapes, and special access and discounts to in-person events, such as monthly offerings at Shilo Farm in Eliot, ME.
