It happens only once a year…

when The Music Hall and Ogunquit Playhouse team up to bring us a full musical performance for the holidays! If the last six years are any indication, this year’s production of Annie is sure to be yet another hit! The Music Hall’s Brittany Wason shares the inside skinny on this upcoming musical that officially debuts on November 29th!

Why are you excited Annie’s coming to town this year??

I’m thrilled that Sally Struthers will return to our stage! She’s a legend and will be the perfect Ms. Hannigan for the show. I’m excited for the talented Broadway actors and dancers to join us here at The Music Hall—even the dog is from Broadway!

When will Annie run?

From November 27 through December 22—almost the entire holiday season! After a few nights of previews, the official opening night will be on November 29th.

Tell us about The Music Hall’s partnership with the Ogunquit Playhouse.

Our two organizations’ missions align perfectly and as small nonprofits, we both benefit from working together to create an expanded holiday season filled with elevated, family-friendly productions.

Some of us may have seen Annie the musical before. How will this performance be different?

Our holiday productions are always spectacular and full of life. The Ogunquit Playhouse brings experience in producing world-class performances and provides us with incredible talent, sets, and costumes. Many actors in the cast will come to us directly from Broadway, and Sally Struthers will reprise her Broadway tour role as Miss Hannigan. But not everything will be shipped from New York; we’re thrilled to have some very talented local kids on stage with us this year!

With familiar songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s a Hard Knock Life”, this performance is sure to be a memorable experience for people of all ages!
