Things to Do in Rye, New Hampshire
In the summer months, don’t miss Rye’s beautiful beaches! Sprinkled with surf shops along the main road, experts and newbies alike can find just what they need for their favorite water activities—board rentals, wetsuits, and SUPs are all available for rent. And just like that, you’ll be riding the waves in no time!
Start your day with a smoothie by the water, and end it with a tasty seafood dinner and moonlit beach walk. Ride your bike to Rye Harbor and catch a fishing tour or trip to the Isles of Shoals and Star Island. Perhaps you’ll want to bring a picnic lunch to the quiet, secluded shores of Odiorne State Park. While there, you can also cast a fishing rod, or set your kayak into the quiet, marshy waters, and catch some wildlife! If you’re into golf, tennis, or yoga, Rye has all of those fun activities and so much more!
